Jan­u­ary through April is when we plant our seeds for the year by dis­play­ing our prod­uct for the mar­ket in trade shows. I’ve par­tic­i­pat­ed in these trade shows for 17 years now in the ICF indus­try and it has always been the same old thing, but this year was notably dif­fer­ent.

A 150-year-old grain­ery build­ing was trans­formed into a restau­rant and micro­brew­ery in Ontario by a cou­ple look­ing to revi­tal­ize their com­mu­ni­ty and join the up-and-com­ing craft beer mar­ket.

A garage is only as strong as the foun­da­tion beneath it. With­out the right plan­ning and con­struc­tion, prob­lems like set­tling, water dam­age, and insta­bil­i­ty can show up over time.

A slow­down at the lum­ber mills due to the COVID-19 pan­dem­ic, com­bined with oth­er fac­tors, has led to lum­ber short­ages and sky­rock­et­ing prices.
