Fox Blocks is exhibit­ing at the AIA Nation­al Con­ven­tion being held here in New Orleans now through May 14^th.

Our par­ent com­pa­ny, Air­lite Plas­tics, cre­ates plas­tic prod­ucts for a vari­ety of appli­ca­tions – so we have a con­stant sup­ply of first-gen­er­a­tion recy­cled mate­r­i­al. And since it’s right here in our facil­i­ties, we work toward the small­est car­bon foot­print pos­si­ble.

Every suc­cess­ful facil­i­ty starts with a plan own­ers can actu­al­ly build. Sta­ble oper­a­tions depend on site capac­i­ty, util­i­ty ser­vice, and a durable, mois­ture-tol­er­ant build­ing enve­lope.

The ICF blocks are held in place with either low expan­sion spray foam or a met­al starter track. The bracing/​alignment sys­tem, typ­i­cal­ly installed after the 4^th course of block, also sup­ports the ICFs in place. Once the con­crete is in the wall there is no con­cern with the forms mov­ing. The con­crete is con­nect­ed to the foot­ing with rein­forc­ing dow­els.
