The need to incor­po­rate sound­proof­ing fea­tures in the exte­ri­or walls of today’s homes and build­ings has increased in recent decades. Urban­iza­tion, pop­u­la­tion growth, and an increase in air, rail, and high­way traf­fic all have con­tributed to a wide­spread esca­la­tion of noise pol­lu­tion.

Build­ing com­mer­cial retail devel­op­ments with ICF con­struc­tion cre­ates struc­tures that are dis­as­ter-resis­tant, ener­gy-effi­cient, envi­ron­men­tal­ly-friend­ly, qui­et, and durable.

The chal­lenge for this build was to cre­ate a home that would appeal to a sophis­ti­cat­ed buy­er with fea­tures that an emp­ty nester mov­ing from a larg­er more expan­sive home would enjoy. The result is an ener­gy effi­cient home which cre­ative­ly uses space in an attrac­tive, lux­u­ri­ous, and cost effec­tive way.

Tech­no­log­i­cal inno­va­tion is chang­ing the way we live, and homes are no excep­tion. From light­ing and secu­ri­ty to air qual­i­ty and com­fort, sys­tems that once required man­u­al input are now han­dled auto­mat­i­cal­ly, adjust­ing in real time to meet chang­ing con­di­tions.
