Ash­bury Hills Ele­men­tary School is the first com­plete school built with ICFs in the state of Nebras­ka, and its gym­na­si­um was built to full height with Fox Blocks.

In order to max­i­mize the avail­able project foot­print and achieve the beau­ti­ful mediter­ranean-inspired look, the design required com­plex, tight-radius cor­ners and open­ings.

The city’s lead­er­ship saw a need for more afford­able hous­ing oppor­tu­ni­ties in the boom­ing metro­plex, with a focus on more ener­gy-effi­cient homes to fur­ther address the cost of liv­ing.

A few sur­viv­ing hous­es caught the eye of media out­lets around the world, seem­ing­ly untouched by Hur­ri­cane Michael’s destruc­tion. What made these hous­es dif­fer­ent?
