The Fox Blocks Compact / RevealOne is an innovative form with one-side temporary wood panel and the other side, a regular Compact insulated panel. After concrete placement the temporary wood panel is removed to provide a smooth exposed concrete finish, which allows insulation on one side of the wall and bare concrete on the opposite side — ideal for elevator shafts, stairwells, walls, gymnasiums, parking garages, and certain floor line details.

Product Highlights

The one-sided Compact / RevealOne form provides the standard 2 5/8" thick expanded polystyrene (EPS) foam on one side of the concrete wall and a temporary customized wood panel on the other side of the wall. The temporary wood panel is then removed after the concrete is placed and cured providing a smooth, exposed concrete finish.

The Compact / RevealOne blocks are available in two configurations –

Compact / RevealOne N - in combination with the Compact insert webs provides nominal concrete core sizes – 6”,8”10” or 12”.

Compact / RevealOne F – in combination with the Compact insert webs provide concrete core size – 6 ⅝”. 8⅝”, 10⅝” or 12⅝”. This configuration allows the concrete to be flush with an adjoining standard Fox Blocks form.

Each Compact / RevealOne (N or F) form is 48 inches long and 16 inches high and is compatible with all Fox Blocks products.

The form is stacked normally like the other Fox Blocks forms. After the concrete is placed and cured, the temporary wood panel is easily removed. At each location on the exposed concrete side of the wall where the wood panel was fastened, there will be a small cavity left in the concrete, similar to that of a regular snap tie. This cavity is grouted the same way as a snap tie cavity is grouted with conventional concrete walls.
